02 What We Do Not Collect
Heavy Platter does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to the developer or any developer-controlled server. Specifically, we do not collect:
03 Data Stored on Your Device
All collection data you enter into Heavy Platter — record titles, artists, notes, condition grades, values, and wishlist items — is stored exclusively on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself. If you export your collection using Heavy Platter's CSV Export feature, the resulting file is sent directly to the destination you choose (Files, Mail, AirDrop, etc.). The developer does not receive a copy. This local data is included in your iPhone's iCloud device backup if you have enabled iCloud Backup in your device settings. That backup is between you and Apple — Heavy Platter has no access to it.
04 Third-Party Services
Heavy Platter connects to the following external services to fetch album metadata, cover art, tracklists, and pricing. Only search terms (artist name, album title, or barcode) are sent. No personal information is transmitted.

Discogs Optional Used to fetch vinyl pricing and marketplace data. You may optionally connect your Discogs account via OAuth — your access token is stored locally on your device only.
05 In-App Purchases
Heavy Platter offers an optional voluntary tip jar through Apple's StoreKit in-app purchase framework. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. The developer never sees, receives, or stores any payment information. Apple's handling of transactions is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
06 Advertising & Analytics
Heavy Platter contains no advertising of any kind. We do not use any third-party analytics services and we do not collect usage data or crash reports through any external platform.
07 Children's Privacy
Heavy Platter does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. Since the app does not collect personal information from anyone, no special measures beyond standard practice are required.
08 Deleting Your Data
Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you are in complete control of it at all times. To delete all Heavy Platter data, simply delete the app from your iPhone. Individual records can be deleted from within the app at any time. If you have connected Discogs via OAuth, you can revoke Heavy Platter's access at any time from within Discogs' account settings. Disconnecting from within Heavy Platter's Settings → Connect view will also remove the locally stored access token.
09 Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL and the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the app after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
